Kerasia Samara, actress, director.

She studied Biology at the University of Patras (1983-1987).

She finished the Veaki’s drama school in 1990.

She finished the three-year workshop of Ancient Drama, sponsored by the EEC, with Lefteris Vogiatzis as artistic director(1989-1992).

She studied Theatrology at the University of Pelloponisos (2008-).

During the 25 years of her professional life, she has worked with top directors and she has starred in great plays of the world theater repertory.

She worked, among other, with:

Yuri Lyubimov, director of Moscow Taganka Theater. She played Nina at Seagull by Chekhov, on his own direction at the DIONYSIA THEATER in Athens the 1994.

Lefteris Vogiatzis, director of the New Scene, the best unquestionably hellenic director. She has worked with him for five years (1989-1993). She was a member of the ancient drama laboratory in which he was the artistic director. She also played Ismene on Antigone by Sofokles (1992) and  Annoussa on Katzourbos by Chortatzis (1993).

Gilian Gregory,english director and choreografist, she played Roxy Heart on Chicago by Bob Foss and Frend Ebb (1998) at the SMAROULA THEATER .

She has cooperated with the Cultural Olympiad (2004),with Athens Concert Hall (2000 in the opera Apology of Socrates), as well as with the National Theater of Greece three times, where she starred in the brilliant production of the National Theater in the musical Vira tis Agyres (Up the Anchors ), Rosalia Kandyli (1998).

She directed six plays including Iphigenia in Tauris of Euripides, (2013).

She’s been the producer, she wrote and directed the theatrical play LET’S  PLAY which turned out a great success.

She starred in the television series To Kafe tis  Charas, Tango gia treis, Skies sto Peristylio,  as well as in four films (Drop in the Ocean, Testosterone, Beyond the Lake and "Peace time" and "Wartime" (2014) ).

She has occasionally collaborated with famous hellenic composers in concerts and recordings.

She has been  teaching acting for eight years in Veakis drama school.

She loves travelling and   getting to know the world ,through the presentation of her performances  in public abroad.
